Privacy Policy
This policy explains how LOATY Forge collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information through this website and its public enquiry and access-request forms. It is written in plain English so that the choices we make with your information are easy to understand.
Effective date: 16 July 2026
Who we are
LOATY Forge is a founder-led software company that builds practical, human-first products for founder-led businesses. LOATY Forge is operated by Sylvester Ebisan and is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
You can reach us at hello@loatyforge.com for any question about this policy or the information we hold about you.
Information we collect
We only collect information that you choose to give us, or that is necessary to operate the website securely.
- Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, the reason for your enquiry, the message you write, and any optional detail fields you complete.
- Scout access requests. The qualification information you provide about you, your organisation, and the work you would like Scout to help with.
- Communications. If you email us or reply to our messages, we keep a record of that correspondence.
- Server logs. Our hosting platform records standard technical information such as the request path, timestamp, user-agent string, and IP address. These logs are used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse.
- Cookies. The website uses only the essential cookies required to serve pages and protect forms. See our Cookie Policy for details.
- Analytics. Website analytics are currently not active. If we add analytics in future, this policy will be updated before that change goes live.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- Reply to enquiries and provide customer support.
- Review Scout access requests and, where appropriate, invite you to a conversation about fit.
- Keep records of our correspondence with you for context on future requests.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website and its forms.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Lawful basis for processing
Under UK data protection law we rely on the following bases:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to your enquiry, assess Scout access requests, and keep our site secure. We have considered your interests and believe these uses are what you would reasonably expect.
- Consent — where you tick a consent box on a form, or otherwise clearly opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
- Legal obligation — where we need to keep or share information to comply with the law.
Service providers we rely on
A small number of trusted providers help us operate the website. They only process personal information on our instructions and under written terms.
- Resend — delivers transactional email from our forms to our inboxes.
- Lovable — provides the development platform and hosting for this website, including standard server logs and delivery of static assets.
We do not add other processors without updating this policy. If any provider is located outside the UK or EEA, information is transferred under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and access-request messages only for as long as we need them to reply, to maintain a reasonable record of the conversation, and to meet any legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or reduce it to a summary that no longer identifies you.
Server logs are retained for a short operational period by our hosting provider and then rotated automatically.
How we protect your information
The website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated on the server, rate-limited, and protected by spam-prevention measures. Access to the inboxes that receive form messages is limited and protected with multi-factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of an incident that affects your information, we will act promptly and, where required, notify you and the appropriate authority.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete information where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
- Object to how we use your information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Receive a copy of the information you have given us in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@loatyforge.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
The website is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website and our services evolve. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change in a visible place on the site.
How to contact us
For any privacy question, or to exercise a right described above, email hello@loatyforge.com. For product or customer support, email support@loatyforge.com.
