Bespoke at LOATY Forge

Defined software and automation work for a clear business problem.

Products remain central to LOATY Forge. Alongside that portfolio, Forge selectively takes on tightly scoped bespoke projects where the problem, expected outcome and fit with its capabilities are clear.

Forge does not operate as an open-ended software-development agency.

What bespoke means here

Start with the problem, then define the work.

Forge will consider focused software, workflow and automation problems where a bounded intervention can produce a useful, testable outcome.

That may include replacing fragile manual steps, connecting an agreed workflow, or building a focused internal tool. It does not mean accepting every technically possible brief.

Good fit

A bounded problem with a responsible owner.

  • The underlying business problem is clear.
  • The scope and expected outcome can be defined.
  • The work fits Forge’s software and automation capabilities.
  • There is an accountable decision-maker and a practical route to completion.

What Forge is not

Not a general-purpose agency relationship.

  • Open-ended development capacity or staff augmentation
  • Agency retainers without a defined outcome
  • Broad transformation programmes
  • Projects whose core problem or ownership is still unclear

How engagement works

A deliberate route to a defined completion.

  1. Step 1

    Enquiry

  2. Step 2

    Fit assessment

  3. Step 3

    Scoping

  4. Step 4

    Defined project

  5. Step 5

    Delivery

  6. Step 6

    Completion

No commercial commitment exists until scope, responsibilities, expected outcome and commercial terms are agreed.

Relationship to products

Products remain the centre of Forge.

Bespoke projects are selective and secondary. They may solve a specific customer problem or inform future learning, but they do not turn every request into a new product or change the published product portfolio.

Have a clear, tightly scoped problem?

Share enough context for Forge to assess whether a focused engagement may be a sensible fit.
